GPX DEDICATED DEVICE TECHNOLGY PROGRAMMER

Most programmers today are fully driven by PC and therefore GUI customization is not possible. GPX has built-in microprocessor where all of the device algorithms are stored internally on Flash memory. These device libraries are written for specific modules as shown in photo on the left and can be updated via a hex file using programmer boot mode.

GPX can perform functions either from the 4 key switches on the unit or through single character ASCII commands through its serial port. A USB to Serial cable is included as most computers today no longer have a serial port. Since most of the devices that are supported are vintage memory devices, the download files are fairly small and therefore a highspeed direct USB port is not required.

The user interface on the PC side is just a modified " Terminal" program and user can easily write their own or use such tools as Labview to operate the programmer through any PC or Operating system!
